ALICE SIN WONDERLAND — ORIGINAL PAINTING
The "Sin" is intentional.
Nan has loved Alice in Wonderland her entire life — the chaos, the color, the characters who live just outside the rules of the ordinary world. When she brought Alice to Las Vegas for a gallery exhibition at Caesars Palace, the title wrote itself. Wonderland and Sin City share the same DNA — nothing is quite what it seems, and the rules don't apply here.
This hand-painted original — 30"x40" acrylic on gallery-wrapped stretched canvas — was later featured in Nan's 2023 Museum Retrospective "Positively Animated" at the California Center for the Arts Escondido, a career-spanning exhibition of her most significant work.
It is one of the largest and most personally significant paintings in her catalog.
Owning this piece means owning a work that has hung in a Las Vegas gallery and a museum retrospective. There will never be another one.
